In a context where environmental protection is becoming a major concern, Uber recently unveiled its new AI assistant, powered by technology OpenAI GPT-4o. This tool is specially designed to support drivers in their transition to electric vehicles (VE).

This announcement took place during the event “Go-Get Zero”which was held in London. Uber is firmly committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with an investment of 800 million dollars intended to help its driver partners convert to electric vehicles by 2040.

The AI assistant will launch in the US early next year before rolling out to other regions. This tool will offer drivers personalized advice, including relevant information about their city and the subsidies available for the purchase of electric vehicles. To raise awareness, Uber will host a series of pop-up events. These events will allow customers to test electric vehicles. Users in London will be able to try the Lotus Eletrewhile those at Los Angeles, Miami And Dallas will have the possibility to book trips in the Rivian R1.
