Lexion’s software helps lawyers make sense of contracts. It rolled out new features for its Microsoft Word plugin today, including the ability to suggest potential edits and write full text summaries using GPT-3.
For example, a user can ask Lexion to suggest language related to a specific clause in a contract, and it will instantly produce a draft.
The idea is not to rely entirely on AI, but to improve overall efficiency, said Gaurav Oberoi, CEO of Lexion. “It’s a help,” he said. “Think of it as a young lawyer doing something. »
GPT-3 is also used by Lexion to help generate suggested changes to a contract or to quickly summarize the language of a clause.
